Ansonia Clock Company Rococo-Style Iron-Cased Mantel Clock

This nicely proportioned clock was not found in the Ansonia catalogs from the period, but the signed round-plate, eight-day time-and-strike movement was produced by Ansonia Clock Company, New York, circa 1900. The painted black iron case is in the Rococo style with bronze-patinated accents.
